a walk on the beach
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
Today Joe and I decided to take a short walk on the beach. The day wasn't terribly nice out but the wind wasn't blowing and it wasn't raining, so it was perfect!
We gathered up the 2 dogs and headed out to Ediz Hook. Deacon and Joey just love to run on the beach and dig up all sorts of interesting things to chew on. Yuck. That dead crab needs to just stay where it's at - drop it Joey. Drop it!
I didn't have my camera with me so I had to make do with my cell phone camera. Enjoy!

Where old washers go to die.
I thought this made for an interesting contrast in colors...

Joey checks out a dead Christmas tree.

The flowers grow right down to where the sand begins.
They are hardy and quite pretty in their own way.

It's buried right here!

The Few. The Proud. The "I think I see something *right over there*!"

One must "paws" to smell the flowers as one walks the path.

I wonder where this tree was growing before it ended up here...

My uber-handsome Joe. I just love him to pieces!
He thinks he's freezing... it's 57 out.

An interesting rock formation.

Hurry up, why-doncha! I got things to dig. And sniff. And eat.
And I need to run over... there!

Stick me me son. I'll show ya the ropes.

Wait for meeeee!!

Did you call me? Let me pose real quick...
